National Cancer Survivor Week
The National Cancer Survivors Day Foundation defines a “survivor” as anyone living with a history of cancer – from the moment of diagnosis through the remainder of life. The point of the observance of National Cancer Survivors Day is to realize that the diagnosis of cancer is not the end, and that life after diagnosis can be meaningful, productive and inspiring. June 1st, National Cancer Survivor Day, provides an opportunity for all people living with a history of cancer – including America’s nearly 14 million cancer survivors – to connect with each other, celebrate milestones, and recognize those who have supported them along the way.
The design and support team at Joseph Nogucci want to promote awareness of this amazing day by offering the following survivor inspired bracelets at a discount starting June 1st until the following Sunday:
- The Maestro collection of moustache bracelets and Mr.Mo charmballa are designed to spread awareness of prostate cancer in the spirit of Movember, and to let the men in your life know that you care!
- The Red Heart Amor Charmballa is designed with heart health in mind. 10% of the proceeds from the Red Heart Amor Charmballa go to promoting heart health awareness in collaboration with the Heart and Stroke foundation.
- The Pink Ribbon Charmballa was created in support of breast cancer awareness and the search to find a cure. 10% of all proceeds from the Pink Ribbon Charmballa go to the Breast Cancer Society of Canada.
In light of this inspiring celebration of life, we would like to take the first week of June to share our design and support team’s inspiring experiences with loved ones who have and continue to survive cancer.
